The philosophy behind Metier Wines is the crafting of stylish, complex wines using grapes sourced from distinguished vineyard sites across southern and central Victoria, Australia. Martin Williams, Master of Wine, applies his extensive knowledge and understanding of the world of wine to create hand-crafted wines from the classic varieties Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. Individual vineyard designations highlight the consistent differences among the various regions from which the grapes are sourced. The wines are made to be enjoyed with food, their complexity and harmony complementing a range of cuisines - not dominating with fruit, oak or winemaking artefact. Metier Wines faithfully reflect their origins, at the same time bearing witness to the knowledge and experience of their winemaker, Martin Williams MW.
