Ashland Vineyards and Winery is located in extreme southern Oregon best suited and noted for growing warm-climate varietals. The 120-acre estate South-facing hillside vineyard is planted in 15 different varietals, including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Sangiovese, Dolcheto, Viognier, Tempranillo, Pinot Gris, Grenache, and several others. Making wine is our passion, and it demands the best of our craft, ourselves, and our grapes. After careful control of the vineyard to low tonnage, the grapes are picked at the peak of ripeness by hand in the cool of the morning. We produce ultra-premium wine at affordable prices. As many as 10 new red wines and 7 new white wines will be released in 2004.
