Cadgal was founded in 1989 with the main mission of redefining the identity boundaries of Moscato d'Asti. All the work focuses on the grape variety, enhances its personality linked to the terroir and translates it into important sweet wines that benefit from the passage of time. First and foremost is Moscato d'Asti Vigna Vecchia, produced in a very limited quantity and aged for 60 months immersed in sand: a uniqueness of method that has led to surprising results of richness, finesse and longevity. The year 2024 marked an important milestone, kicking off a new project that envisages a parallel focus on Barbera d'Asti alongside Moscato d'Asti, as well as on some international varietals such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, an expression of the territory that unites Langhe and Monferrato.
