WINERY NEUMEISTER
The winery, that positioned itself long ago amongst the top wine producers of Austria, maintains the constant quality of all produced wines through the total absence of compromise. Through extensive Cold Maceration and the usage of gravity (the winery is subtlety built into a hill), in addition to the gentle, variety particular fermentation and maturing, the wines evolve into a style unique to Neumeister: maintaining a ripe, clear and deep scent in the nose that increases in intensity on the palate, with a long lasting, complex and harmonic finish.
The palate extends from the ‚Steirische Klassik’ (Styrian Classic) wines – fruity, fine classically produced wines with a mellow style, to the ‚Lagenweine’ (Single Selected Vineyard wines from the locations Moarfeitl, Saziani, Steintal and Klausen) - complex and long living wines from heavy, calcareous, sediment earth in the Tertiary – before extending further to ripe Red wines and outstanding Sweet wines.
