Blue Star Tequila began with a simple belief: life’s best moments are shared, around a fire, at the table, with people who inspire your boldest, most curious self. Founded by Tom Carr and a close group of lifelong friends, Blue Star was born from a shared love of great tequila & true adventure. What started as conversations Texas skies soon led us to Jalisco, Mexico, where we partnered with artisans & producers who shared our spirit of curiosity. In the highlands’ rich red soil & dry air, we discovered more than the perfect agave azul, we found a community, a craft, and a willingness to experiment. Inspired by practices from the wine world, we began harvesting our 100% agave azul under moonlight, during the cool night hours.
