Hatton Estate is a family owned and operated winery established in 1992 by two couples, John and Ngarita Rees and Michael and Colleen Daymond-King in the Gimblett Gravels sub region of Hawke’s Bay. The 40-acre Hatton Estate vineyard, regarded as an integral part of the wine making process produces two wines, Tahi and EC2 primarily for export. Tahi, an ultra premium Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc; and EC2 an unoaked Chardonnay.
