We started the company in 2014, and put the first whisky to barrel in 2016, so we will soon be releasing 10-year-old single malt whisky. The idea was to do more than make a great Australian whisky. We wanted to create a new, collaborative concept and add another rich layer to the heritage and tradition of one of the nation’s best and most loved wine regions. Our home and heart is among the coastal vineyards, but we use the best wine and fortified casks from wineries all over Australia to age our whisky in, creating unique spirits of true provenance. We produce high quality whisky for the experienced consumer, with most single casks bottled at cask strength. Awarded Brand Innovator of the year in 2018 by Icons of Whisky, we are primarily a premium single malt whisky producer, but also make gin and fortified wines and are located on the northern end of McLaren Vale, with world-class views overlooking undulating vineyards.
