We are a family-run winery with Jana+ her father Heinz Günter at the forefront, supported by the rest of the Hauck family and a handful of long-time, dedicated team members. We foster and cultivate vines on about 30 hectars located in the beautiful rolling hills of Rheinhessen. To ensure the highest quality possible, we dedicate a lot of time and manual labor into growing our grapes, which results in wines with fruit and minerality, balance and finesse.
We focus on Riesling, Silvaner and the classic white burgundy grape varieties Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay. However, since we're curious people, we couldn’t resist planting some exotic varieties: we also grow Auxerrois and Albariño. Our red varieties mainly consist of Pinot Noir, St. Laurent, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
We are undogmatic in what we do and care about sustainability. For us, this means working in a future-oriented way. This is why we try keep our carbon footprint as low as possible.
We sell about 70% of our production within Germany; the rest is exported to various countries such as the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Vietnam, Singapore, China.
