African Sun Wines is the brand owner for Mara Wines and is a leading exporter of South African wine to growing international markets worldwide.The company was founded in 2006 by the Sahi family. Through our experience in the wine industry and a shared vision we created a range of wines that provide tangible value for money and build consumer trust, whilst placing an emphasis on social and ecological responsibility. We created a truly African brand to win the hearts and minds of the most price and quality conscious wine consumer.A key feature of our products is that the beads that decorated the bottles are a means for us to provide groups of woman with empowerment opportunities to create their own business so that they can produce and sell the beads to us and learn lost artisanal skills.
