Maya Pistola Agavepura is a 100% Agave craft spirit made completely in India, using Agave Americana grown on the Deccan Plateau. We launched in February, 2022 and have launched the product in Goa and in Delhi. We will be hitting other states in India this year, and are looking for potential distribution partners. We find this product would do very well on trade in all Agave heavy bars, and Indian restaurants. Off-trade we will use our unique selling point - being a 100% Agave spirit not from Mexico. Agave Americana (the species that is commonly used in Mezcals) is grown wild in India, however it has been made in the same way Tequila is made, using all the same techniques. We have only launched our Reposado for now, but will be launching the following variants within the year: Plata, Rosa Plata, Rosa Reposado, Añejo, Extra Añejo. Our parent company, Pass Code Hospitality, is in the restaurant business with over 20 premium fine-dine restaurants and bars across India.
