Château Rousselle is a 23-hectare estate between the hillsides of Blaye and Bourg. Historically installed since 1636 a few hundred meters from the Gironde Estuary, Rousselle has been producing wine for nearly 300 years benefiting from an Atlantic influence and an ideal sun exposure. Today and since 1999, the château belongs to Mr. Vincent Lemaitre who became a winemaker by passion. Rousselle is currently certified HVE3 and is in conversion to organic since February 2020. Throughout the vineyard, the use of pesticides and other chemical elements is totally prohibited since many years now. We work with controlled grassing and the use of organic fertilizers to promote and maintain the biological life of the soil.
