JFS - Sociedade Vinícola, Lda., Located in a typical farm in the North of Portugal, Quinta do Barco, is a winemaking company that produces and markets white green wine, red green wine and rosé green wine. Quinta do Barco was acquired by the company JFS in 1994 and, during the first eight years, had as main activity the commercialization of the raw material produced for the different economic agents of the region.In 2002, in a space previously used for the storage of the flower of hops, a large cellar was created for the beginning of what would be a prosperous path in the production of own wines under the Quinta do Barco brand. White green wine was the first to be placed on the market. Two years later, as a result of great demand, the company also started to produce red green wine.
