In 1982 Esturillo family acquired a farm named as Fundo Las Cañas; Huge field of virgin territory, possessing a truly unique place and with an indescribable potential for vines. Since then began the idea of planting clones of the highest quality to obtain outstanding wines.
Within Maule Valley, we find the farm Las Cañas, a land of 900 ha. of which 400 ha. are planted with topography of flat soils with little slope, composed of an esplanade with sandy characteristics of very low fertility and a high sector of clay loam soils. Just beside Maule River.
Located in the Itata Valley, in a small place called Larqui, our boutique vineyard is surrounded by Itata River with a mix of Marine + Andes cool climates and topography of gentle hills + granitic reddish soils, perfect for our premium wines.
