Herdade do Gamito resides in the Northeastern Alentejo, 4 km from the historical village of Crato, the ancient headquarters of the Order of Malta in Portugal. Comprised by 27 hectares of vines, it belongs to the descendants of a traditional family, with centenary roots in the region.
A deep understanding of the land was what made this wine project possible, which has gone beyond its commercial vein. It is a passion, which we eagerly share with wine lovers all over the world.
The pursuit of quality, the attention to detail in each stage of production, tradition allied to innovation, the value of artisan work and recourse to state-of-the-art technology are some of the factors that mark our wines, produced exclusively from our own grapes.
Inspired by the best wineries of the New World, our winery was built upon an enological concept, which respects and explores the excellent quality of the grapes.
