Named the top wine education program in America by SOMM. The Wine School offers professional training for winemakers and sommeliers.Located in the posh neighborhood of Rittenhouse Square in downtown Philadelphia. The School offers multile certifications, depending on the client needs. Master Wine Certification is a three-year program, Winemaking certification takes six months, and Advanced Sommelier certification takes eighteen months. Our instructors are the best in the field. Each has a minimum of a master level college education, plus a minimum of 10 years in the wine trade. Our professors include former professional winemakers, wine critics, and sommeliers. We also offer educational classes to the public at large. These are two-hour classes without certifications. These include our popular Sommelier Smackdown and Wine 101. Plus, we offer classes on New Zealand, Portugal, Israel, along with plenty of classes on Italy.
