Robertson Co-op Winery was founded in 1941 and vinifies ±23000 tons grapes annually produced by its 40 members. In 1989 the bold step to cut ties with the traditional way of doing business by selling wine in bulk to wholesalers was taken under the guidance of our Manager and since then a wide range of wines are being produced and filled at the wineries' premises. Wines are also being bought in from various other wineries to ensure a continuous supply to the broad clientele base built up over the past decade. The success of this winery can be attributed to the commitment of the members to produce quality grapes and their adaptability to establish cultivars to ensure their place in a very competitive market.
