Tenuta Casteani is a Tuscan winery, located in Maremma near Grosseto. We mainly produce red and white wines DOC Maremma Toscana. The production is carried out manually with low yield, 70 quintals per hectare, in order to obtain high quality grapes and wines. The current production is of 40-50 thousand bottles a year, of which 50% is meant for foreign markets and the rest for the Italian market. Beside traditional wines we also produce no added sulphites wines, wines produced and aged in clay jar, Vermentino Spumante and Sangiovese Rosè Metodo Classico. We aim to be a sustainable winery: we installed a 700 Kw photovoltaic system for the internal consumption and we are also converting our production to organic.
