Ours is very much a family-run vineyard - the Pion family have been winemakers in the village of Haux, 20 miles south-east of Bordeaux, since Napoleonic times.Our wines are all appellation controlee - Bordeaux & Cotes de Bordeaux red, Bordeaux dry white, Bordeaux rose and Cadillac sweet white.We currently cultivate 70 hectares of vines, 50 hectares destined for our red & rose wines, 20 hectares for our sweet & dry white wines. The wine is bottled on the premises (Mise en bouteille au chateau and stocked in a temperature-controlled environment.Our main strengths:flexibility, responsiveness, excellent value for money - plus the wine-making experience and export knowledge that enables us to produce a reliable wine year after year.
