As a result of 19 years making wine in Dao region, I felt the need to make my own wine as an interpretation of the terroir and my passion for wine. The vineyards are in Gouveia, near Serra da Estrela. Dao Serra da Estrela is an historical 'Terroir' able to origin pure and fresh wines, showing the footprint of its granitic soils and altitude. This wine ages very well, due to the balance given by its natural acidity.
