Magnoberta distillery was established in 1918 by Mr. Domenico Magno and Paolo Berta in the old town centre of Casale Monferrato.

A few years later a new partner joined the company, Doctor Bozzolo, a chemist fond of preparation of herbs. The support of a qualified technician allow to our Company a great quality improvement in the production, from that moment on, tended to natural products based on herbs.
In 1937 Luparia family joined the distillery: the 50% share of Mr Domenico Magno was taken over by Rinaldo Luparia. This new situation has given an important contribution to the Company development thanks to their experience in this field.
During the war Mr Berta retired, so all the property of the Company passed in the hands of Luparia family.
The Company growth during these years, and in the 1949 the factory was moved from the town centre to a new, bigger complex of 16.000 sqm set on the outskirts of Casale.
In 1962 Alberto Luparia joined the company and his presence allowed import
