By 1906, Mr. Secundino Gil arrived from Navarra, Spain, to South America. He found in Chile the ideal region to plant vineyards in the Maipo Valley.
His descendants, the members of the Gil Ferrer family, have continued the tradition, cultivating vines and fruits in the Fundo Miraflores in Isla de Maipo. The Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Carmenere and Syrah grapevines cultivation is being developed with much success, improving our quality, experience and know how.
Vina Miraflores del Maipo produces high quality wines and representative of his Terroir, cultivating vines with respect for the environment. We offer bulk wine for export and also wine bottled.
