Bordertown is located in the heart of Osoyoos, British Columbia, a border town that has long been celebrated for rich soil and brilliant sunshine. We're located in the only desert in Canada. The South Okanagan is a wine-growing region that provides us with the diversity to grow 14 varietals in including Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay. Our wines strike a balance; often the fruit's initial ripeness gives way to a lightening bolt of acidity that comes from our growing season's extreme day vs night temperature as well as the mineral rich soils upon which our vineyards are planted. Acidity has come back into vogue. Higher acidity ripples through not just whites made from riesling and chardonnay, but also through our reds.Bordertown was honoured to win the Lieutenant Governors Award of Excellence in British Columbia Wines for our 2013 Living Desert Red.Discover why Canadian wines are catching the worlds attention.
