Nimrod Wines is the US sister company and importer for the Kovacs Nimrod Winery, a Hungarian winery based in Eger. We exclusively produce dry wines at our winery, focusing on varietals that feel at home in our cooler climate. Our wines fall into two categories, our estate selection where our fruit is all sourced from our two volcanic vineyards, and our Grand Cru selection that is sourced from our limestone vineyard. Our focus is on producing terrior driven wines that highlight the uniqueness of Eger. We produce Furmint, Chardonnay, Kekfrankos, Syrah, Bikaver (Bulls Blood), and several other blends.
