The vineyards of Glenlofty lie between 320 and 360 metres above sea level on the south-west edge of the Victorian Pyrenees ranges in Australia. The vines were planted in 1995 to supply premium cooler climate red and white varieties to the Seppelt and Penfolds brands. The estate is comprised of 30 separate vineyard blocks totalling 130 hectares that typically produce 4 to 5 tonnes per hectare, made up of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Nebbiolo and Chardonnay. The northern Rhone varieties Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne also grow particularly well here. During 2017 we have won 3 Trophies, 11 Gold, 18 Silver and 29 Bronze Medals at domestic and international wine shows. We have two ranges - Glenlofty ESTATE and Glenlofty GO ranges.
