Rio Maggio is a family owned estate grown wine company from Montegranaro, Marche region in Italy. The company has been founded in 1976 by Graziano Santucci and it is now owned by his son, Simone Santucci who realized the cultivation of specialized vineyards in this area. He implanted vineyeards for the production of two important D.O.C. wines of the Marche, especially for the districs of Fermo, Ascoli Piceno and Macerata: Rosso Piceno and Falerio dei Colli Ascolani. During these thirty years of activity Rio Maggio gained a top position through local companies and his wines are exported in many countries. Quality and natural character of the wine are the bases of company's philosophy. It is supported by important choises, like the hand picking, the limited use of sulphites and products with low environmental impact and careful vinification tecniques. These values are reflected into a real commitment, care for details and consequently into a high quality wine.
