The DOMAINE DES GARENNES, a family-owned estate of 40ha vineyard, operates, for 4 generations, in Montreuil-Bellay (15km from Saumur), and produces all the leading appellations in the region (Saumur white and red / Cabernet d'Anjou / Rose de Loire / Cremant de Loire white and rose ...). Our vineyard is spread on the right and left banks of Le Thouet (direct tributary of the Loire). This offers us a wide variety of soils that give our wines great complexity both in structure and aromatic profiles. Our vineyard has evolved over the years under the benevolence of our - uncle and great-uncle - and today our commitment is to develop the integrated farming for a responsible and sustainable viticulture. We place particular emphasis on environmentally friendly practices encouraging biotechnical methods such as the sexual confusion (technique to disrupt pest activity).
