Cantina Montelliana is a cooperative of associated vine-growers established in1957. It is located at the foot of the hills of the area stretching from Montello to Asolo, in the heart of the Marca Trevigiana and enjoys ideal soil and climatic conditions for cultivating vines. Approximately six thousand tons of grapes are harvested every year from about 700 hectares of vineyards. Cantina Montelliana focuses its production mainly on PROSECCO (DOC and DOCG) but produces also still, semi-sparkling and sparkling white and rose' wines using mainly the Charmat method (secondary fermentation in under pressure tank) and a wide variety of red wines, too, reaching an annual production of around 13.500.000 bottles.
