Our heritage goes back to the year 1880 when Don Luis Melo, Marquis of Vellisca and Grandee of Spain, after renouncing the crown of Portugal, settled in a very special place: Fontanars dels Alforins, municipality in the Valencia Community, which is boarding with the Communities of Castilla La Mancha and Murcia, a crossroad with a particular Microclimate. The Marquis of Vellisca settled in the country estate named El Balco, where he built the palace known as Torre Vellisca. Our working philosophy corresponds to the concept of Cult Wines combining traditional homemade methods with modern technology, special care and attention throughout production process in order to offer an outstanding product with a distinctive profile. Every year is unique; every harvest is like a new life. Year after year our wines show their singularity and can satisfy the most experienced palates. They are 100% naturals.
