In 2009 was born San Diego winery on 11 hectare of vine over clay soils rich of potassium and Pliocene fossils. The largest part of vineyard is made by red grapes: Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. A substantial part of the estate is also cultivated with the Ribona native grape variety, a rare variety with a huge development evolution.
Cantina San Diego is a certified organic winery, where we take care of all quality details. From green manure, a completely natural fertilizing technique helping the ground health quality , till the grapes selection, low yields and parcel hand picking.
