Edetaria was founded by Joan Lliberia, owner and winemaker, in 2003 with his family vineyards, being the grandson of an oenologist, and the son of a wine grower. Edetaria's grenache wines, both white and red, are receiving year after year +90 ratings and awards. Edetaria wines include:
Entry level:
Vinya d'Irto White, 100% grenache blanc.
Vinya d'Irto Red, 100% grenache.
Vinya d'Irto Rose, 100% grenache.
Medium range:
Via Edetana White, 70% grenache blanc 30% viogner.
Via Edetana Red,60% grenache 30% syrah 10% carignan.
Premium wines:
Edetaria White 100% grenache blanc,old vines.
Edetaria Red 90% grenache, 10% carignan, old vines.
Currently Edetaria production is 200.000 bottles of hand-picked grapes which 100% comes from our own vineyards, in five years time we plan to reach 220.000 bottles, because some vineyards were planted last year. In 3 years all our wines will be certified.
