VELETA Awarded BEST OF NATION SPAIN at the San Francisco International Wine Competition. The Palomar Family Estate and Winery, Dominio Buenavista is located in Ugíjar, a remote village on the south bank of Sierra Nevada, Spain. The region, is known as the Alpujarra, cradle to some of the oldest wine making traditions in the world.The fruits of our vines are truly characteristic of the region and render exuberant red and white wines with striking aromas and flavors. Our geographical location is ideal for the production of wines of extraordinary quality. We are located 1,900 feet over sea level in a valley protected from the cold by the tallest mountains of the Iberian Peninsula, Veleta (from where our name derives). We produce a total of 13 different wines, including Tempranillo, Cab Sauvignon, Blends, Rose, Vijiriega, late harvest blend and sparkling wines. Self-import into the USA and China where they are available for immediate distribution.
