Fikardos winery is one of the first privately owned wineries in Cyprus. It was established by Mr Theodoros Fikardos in 1990 and is currently located in Mesogi industrial area. Fikardos Winery works in close cooperation with vine growers and always aims in selecting the best grapes for vinification. Besides international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Mataro and Chardonnay the winery gives strong emphasis to Cypriot indigenous grapes varieties. We believe that Maratheftiko, Xinisteri and any other Cypriot variety are Cyprus true signature. In 2010 the winery established its own vineyards at Pano Arodes and Choulou village with the predominant aim to cultivate Cypriot varieties Ganoudi, Maratheftiko and Xinisteri. Our vision is to produce wines that reveal Cyprus true character.
