Bodegas Bohorquez is a small winery with a production of 80 000 bottles. Founded in 1998, we launched on the market our first wine in 2002. Elaborated a Crianza (Cardela 2009) and a Reserva (Bohorquez 2006).
During the harvest is made with boxes of 20 kilos, to avoid squeezing and loss of aromas. The grapes are cold to the selection place, from which pass small and refrigerated tanks for fermentation to develop evenly and get the right temperature throughout the must.
Once the yeast have realized sugars but extended the maceration to yield all the skins before racking soluble components. Finely malolactic fermentation takes place in barrel, on deposit or both, depending on the year.
