Glinavos estate is part of the living continuity of Zitsa. With ongoing efforts for the continuous improvement of its wines quality, Glinavos winery is one of the leaders in the field of wine- making. Lefteris Glinavos set up the winery with effort and passion in 1978. Today, his son Thomas, who follows his father's steps, is the Managing Director of the winery.
During the first years, the Glinavos family used the native varieties of white Debina, Vlahiko and red Bekari and later on they utilized more Greek and foreign varieties. In this way, the family gives wine-lovers the opportunity to enjoy unique wines with international awards.
Glinavos family primarily started cultivating the indigenous varieties Debina,white and Vlahiko & Bekari red and then continued cultivating other Greek and International varieties.
Today, it enables the opportunity to local people and visitors to indulge themselves with unique and internationally award winning wines.
