Our cellar, with a capacity of 24,000 liters and 5 acres of cultivable land, is located in the small village of Souto, in the municipality of Castrelo de Miño, in the province of Ourense, in the South of Galicia. The winery is located in the family home, and generation after generation we have been dedicated to viticulture for more than 175 years. But the winery creation, as we know it now, dates back to 2002 when its sole owner, the harvester José Manuel Blanco Pérez, decides to commercialize their wines under their own brand. In 2012, due to the tenth anniversary, we decided to take a step forward in making quality products, for this reason we chose a new brand and we got an improved version of our wine. That brand, Val de Souto, is the result of years of experience and the improvement in our winemaking process.
