It lies at the heart of the vineyards ‘Gaillacois’, on the first Gaillac hills. Château Maresque is produced on mollassic clayey-calcareous soils. The southern slopes, low in altitude are caressed by the Autan wind warmed by the Mediterranean and dried from the land mass. We grow grapes from Bordeaux, Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon, Syrah from the Rhone-area and many local varieties, Mauzac and Loin de L’oeil, Braucol or Fer Servadou, Duras and Prunelard. Our wines: Château Maresque dry white, red traditional, red cuvee Thomas and red aged in hand made oak barrels have won medals at many international wine contests.
