The Weger wine estate, founded in 1820 by Josef Weger was something of a pioneer in the history of winegrowing in Alto Adige. The vinery is located in Cornaiano, a beautiful small village on the hills of Oltradige 450 mt a.s.l.,a very dry site, medium-structure morainal soils with a sand and gravel composition; the microclimate is cool, with striking contrasts between day and night time temperatures. We produce a large choise of selected wines like the white fruity pinots(pinot grigio, pinot blanc, chardonnay) and the aromatic variety of Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon blanc and Müller Thurgau. The red wines we produce are pinot noir, Lagrein and Merlot. The superior wines our production are called Maso delle Rose.
