Ararat Cognac Factory A.K.Z. Ltd was founded in 1895. In the fifties of the XX century Ararat Cognac Factory was the major enterprise in Armenia for the production and the storage of an excellent cognac (brandy). Moreover, it was the supplier of raw materials to Yerevan Cognac Factory. Now the company holds a large amount of the best long-term branded spirits (so called gold fund of the company) which are used in blending of newer brandies. The company is equipped with the latest technologies such as the modern cooling system, the German filters, the best oak barrels, high-end automation and Italian bottling line. Nowadays the distillery of A.K.Z. completely conforms to the European quality standards.
