The Bassetti Vineyard Syrah and Grenache blocks are defined by coastal influences, which become the lauded “Templeton Gap” effect for vineyards laying in the west Paso Robles region. The result is fruit which is slower to ripen, allowing the grapes to develop their intense, complex flavor profile and dense opaque color – recognized hallmarks of Bassetti wine and attributes prized by the winemakers who buy these grapes. The first bottling of Bassetti occurred in 2000. Available wines for 2005 Syrah (limited), 2007 Syrah and 2013 Syrah Rose. Please contact us for information and pricing.
