The Domain of Ravanès, a place steeped in history and wine-making tradition since the Roman time, is situated in the Northwest of Béziers on a soil of clay and limestone gravels boarding the “Orb”river .
Pioneers of the qualitative vine growing in Languedoc, in particular with the introduction of Merlot, some Cabernet Sauvignon or Petit Verdot from the beginning the 70’s, Guy and Marc Benin, produce since 1978 some high-end , original and atypical wines with strong characters.
The constant search without compromise for Great wines allowed vineyards of exception of the domain, stemming from the noblest vines, to be present at the most demanding amateur's cellars and on the tables of the most renowned restaurants.
Wines of the Domain of Ravanès reach an excellent level and an international recognition today, the outcome of which was in London, in September, 2004, to outclass in blind tasting, the immense and mythical "Pétrus"!
