In the 1960s, Don Juan Arrigoni acquired vineyards in the suburbs of Tupungato´s city, in Gualtallary, Valle de Uco region, Mendoza at 1,078 m.a.s.l. Gualtallary is now one of the top regions of Argentina to produce grapes for high quality wines. Year after year we have been improving and renewing the quality of our vineyards, but still there are areas which preserve the original plants. Total vineyard 86 ha (210 acres). In 2005, the family acquired a winery established during the 1930’s in La Consulta, Valle de Uco. We used its original caves for our barrels and bottles while the upper floor was modernized with state-of-the–art equipment. We have entered our 8th year of producing high quality wines. Each one has the uniqueness of our single vineyard grapes and the devotion of our people. Los Noques Finca Don Juan 2009 obtained 90 Points in 2012 in tasting by Stephen Tanzer, and also obtained a Trophy in 2012 in a blind testing performed in Hyatt Hotel in Mendoza.
