Nestled in the south of the Krems Valley lies the Markus Heninger Winery in the heart of the idyllic wine-growing village Krustetten, close to Gottweig Abbey, an impressive Benedictine monastery. The grapes grow in premium vineyards stretching from the Wachau to the Traisen Valley. Now under the leadership of Markus Heninger, the fourth generation is managing the vineyards with great passion to harmonize winemaking with nature. Markus is dedicated to keeping the authenticity of each wine by respecting and enhancing the unique combination of climate, soil and landscape the terroir in the most fruitful way.
