Finca La Legua is located on his family’s ancestral land, called “LA LEGUA” which is 6 kilometers (or one league) from Valladolid, main city in Castilla. Wine has been produced here on the property for over 300 years (at least that’s as far as the records go back). However, a new winery has recently been built on top of the very old passageways and tunnels of the former winery.
The commitment is to offer a quality red wine with a character and personality of its own. To achieve this, our red wines are made exclusively with carefully selected and hand picked grapes from La Legua plantation, 80 hectares of family production reflecting the character of the area: Alluvial soils rich in pebbles.
