Founded in 1840 in the port of Carloforte for handling the export of minerals from the mines of Sulcis Iglesiente, Plaisant branched out to Sant'Antioco, Portovesme, Cagliari, Porto Torres, Oristano, Arbatax and Olbia. Today the company operates in all the commercial Sardinian ports and airports, offering forwarding services, customs procedures assistance, airport handling, shipping, p&i correspondence and acts as Lloyd's of London sub-agency.
