We are a family owned and operated winery located in the BORDEAUX AOC but more particulary in "îlot de Baron" 10-Miles south East of the well known city of Saint Emilion. Three generations of the DESAGES family have been involved in the winemaking process from the vineyards to the cellar and out into the marketplace. Our vineyards exist since 5 centuries and have been acquired by our great grand father in 1890. Our principal wines are: - Château Le Moulin de la Jaumarde : our premium Red hosted 12 months in oak barrels - Château Grands Bois : our red wine hosted 3 months in oak barrels - Château Hautes grives : our white and Rosé wine Our market has principally been France but we are currently seeking an importer to work with in the United States. Our 2010 Chateaux Le Moulin de la Jaumards recently received a rating of 85 from Wine Enthusiast.
