Abrikon is a strong alcoholic drink made of apricot. Only carefully selected and ripe apricots from Ararat Valley are used in the production of Abrikon. From the peeled and pitted fruit they extract juice, which is subjected to fermentation by means of special yeast. From the resulting mass they distill alcohol, which is then aged in oak barrels for several years. In the process of aging apricot tree barrels are also used.
