Rothvale is a small boutique winery producing some of the Hunter Valley's finest award winning wines. Since 1997, Rothvale has been family owned and operated by Max Patton and his son, Luke. Situated in the Lower Hunter Valley, Rothvale Vineyard has 50 acres of vines, 25 of which are almost 30 years old, and 25 acres of younger vines, all yielding a low 2 to 3 tonnes to the acre. Rothvale produces small quantities of Semillon, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Since our first vintage in 1998, Rothvale has been awarded 5 Trophies and over 100 Show Medals. Rothvale also offer 4 rustic style cottages nestled in the seclusion of the vineyard allowing guests to enjoying life in a working vineyard and offering 'the total wine experience'.
