The Geoff Merrill label has been available since the 1980 vintage and in that time has gained international recognition as a maker of elegant hand made wines from the McLaren Vale and Coonawarra regions of South Australia. Considerable success at Australian and International wine shows has seen the Geoff Merrill labels amass 25 trophy's, 134 gold, 585 silver and 1084 broze medals, including the coveted Jimmy Watson Trophy at the 2005 Melbourne Wine Show for our 2004 Reserve Shiraz and the Dan Murphy Trophy for best varietal Cabernet Sauvignon with our 2002 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon at the Sydney Wine Show in February 2006. Recent vineyard developments now see the company securing its long term future with 3 vineyard sites in full production. Pimpala Vineyard (5 acres)- Reynella,Graymoor (60 acres) Vineyard Coonawarra, Wickham Downs (70 acres) - McLaren Vale.
