Who are we? We are a group of nine men that make up Stauning Whisky. Friendship brought us together, curiosity joined us, and our interest in making a Danish single malt whisky has made us a team. We are a mixed bunch consisting of an engineer, a teacher, a chef, a butcher, a pilot and a doctor and we vary in age from the early 30’s to the late 50’s. Our different backgrounds have been our strength throughout the work involved in setting up the distillery right from scratch. "Reminds me of Ardbeg from the seventies" Jim Murray Our "First impression" Rye Scored and impressive 88 points in Jim Murrays bible. Unheard of for a spirit this young -We are quite proud.
