The Tokaj wine region is the prime wine region of Hungary. The secret behind the exquisite nature and quality of Tokaji wines is the combined beneficial effect of the volcanic-based soil, the southern exposure of the rows of grapes on the slopes of the Zemplén Mountains, the warm rays of autumn sunshine and the mist rising from the river Bodrog. Our especially high quality wine specialities are distributed under the Premium Selection label. These Szamorodni and Aszú wines are made from select grape stock harvested on our own excellently positioned vine plots, cultivated under rigorous yield restriction. Our high category quality wines are distributed under the Grand Selection label.Sárgamuskotály (Yellow Muscat) is a fragrant, crisp, light, dry wine; Barrique Furmint is a somewhat heavier, rich, dry white wine; while our Furmint-Hárslevelű blend, Késői Arany (Late Harvest Gold) is a late harvest, rich, sweet wine. These wines showcase a new side of Tokaj Kereskedőház.
